Grief is like a strangling vine (which I found in our garden) that slowly winds itself around me. I will never be able to pull free from it. And from a certain perspective, it is beautiful because it reminds me that Amelia was real and worth grieving over. And like a garden, that is hard to keep up, I will always live with it ~ my grief ~ as I try and bloom again.
