This months color challenge is finding your creativity through the color YELLOW. Here is what I came up with. Lets see yours!
June means sun, warmth, sunflowers, yellow polka dot bikinis, lemon ice and my birthday. Days are the long, nights are warm. June feels like yellow to me and is a time that children run free as sounds of their laughter ring in the air. Here is what YELLOW is for me. . .
WHY: Color brightens a mood. It brings joy. It makes the world prettier. It brings life to dullness. Color is everywhere, but it’s easy to miss it in the midst of our busy lives.
CHALLENGE: Color Your World is a monthly color challenge that encourages us to STOP and NOTICE the color around us.
HOW: Here’s how it works…
1. We pick a color challenge for the month. June is YELLOW!!!
2. You take that color and interpret it using your creative outlet.
3. Write a blog post on your interpretation.
4. Grab the Color Your World button to display on your blog or link back to the linky.

5. Link up your blog post (not your blog) to the color challenge the 1st Wednesday of the month. Link will stay open Wednesday at 6 am CST through Sunday at 11:59 pm CST.
Creativity knows no bounds. It is a vast machine that is unique to each person. Use your unique creativity to interpret the color each month. It could be the written word, painting, photography, music. We want to see your unique creative voice!

Love it! Now I want a yellow door.
I have to say, I love my yellow door. When we painted our house that was the one thing that I wanted . . . a door that stands out and say “WE live here”
I want a yellow door, too.
That painting is amazing! Love the flower at the bottom and how it’s like she’s blooming out of the flower. Beautiful.
Thanks Jen. I wanted the painting to be completed, but it isn’t quiet yet. I am excited about this one and how it will turn out.
the painting is just breath-taking!! i am an another that now wants a yellow door.
I think everybody should have a front door that shows a little of their personality. You should see my foyer!
That yellow door is amazing…swoon!
A yellow door is just awesome to have. Not sure our neighbors appreciate it, but we love it.
Hi Stephanie,
The painting is just lovely — thanks for sharing and also for organizing this great challenge!
Greetings from Germany,
Birgit
Hi Brigit! WOW, thanks for participating from Germany! I miss it terribly. My hubby is fluent and we keep talking about going back to live.
I love your painting!! The flower on the bottom… beautiful. How fun to have a yellow door! We have a yellow house, so I am trying to think of a neat color to paint the boring white door.
The painting in this photo was just finished this morning. I will have to post a final pic. next week.
Hmmm. so many colors go with yellow, I say go crazy and do what you love. Then if you don’t like it, paint over it.
The pictures are totally amazing!!
