There are so many moments in our lives. Moments that we plan hoping that a wonderful memory will be made so that we can look back on it in time. Some of my best moments are surprise gifts that I could never in my best dreams orchestrate.
That is why I painted ‘A Perfect Moment’. I wanted to capture the bliss, joy, love and peace that comes when your baby (or in this case babies) are asleep against you. Smelling their perfect infant smell, feeling soft skin against yours, holding their tiny bodies is a perfect moment. At first, this painting was of the two babies facing one another. The back of ones head only visible in the image. But then, I decided that the twins were not obvious enough in the photo. And as much as I love others to interpret my work, I wanted this piece to clearly represent a parent with multiples.

I will be listing this original for sale in the shop (in January 2013) and possibly offer it as a print as well. I hope you enjoy it!

Oh, most definitely offer prints!!! This is a lovely heartfelt painting! I love the first incarnation of it, but adore the second!
